A Twitter Card Preview montre how your content will appear quand shared on Twitter/X using Twitter Card meta tags.
Enter your title, description, image URL, et card type. The preview montre how your tweet card will look.
A Twitter Card is a metadata feature attached to a URL that allows you to attach rich media experiences to Tweets that link to your content. Instead of just a plain text link, users see a visual preview including an image, title, description, and author attribution.
This tool simulates how your link will appear when shared on X (formerly Twitter) by parsing the meta tags found in the provided HTML code or URL. It validates the required Open Graph and Twitter-specific tags to display the image, title, and description exactly as users would see them on their timeline.
The previewer supports the most common card types: 'Summary Card' (default with small image), 'Summary Card with Large Image', 'App Card' (mobile app downloads), and 'Player Card' (embedded video/audio). The tool attempts to auto-detect the type based on the `twitter:card` tag provided.
Images often fail to appear if the URL is relative (not absolute), if the image file size exceeds 5MB, or if the image dimensions are incorrect. Ensure your `twitter:image:src` or `og:image` tag uses a full HTTPS URL and points to a publicly accessible image.
While Twitter supports Open Graph (og:) tags, it is best practice to include specific Twitter (twitter:) tags. If you do not provide Twitter-specific tags, Twitter will fall back to the Open Graph tags. However, using Twitter tags ensures you have full control over how the card appears on the platform.
This usually happens due to caching. Once Twitter crawls a URL, it caches the card data for approximately 7 days. To force an update, use the Twitter Card Validator or the 'Refresh Cache' button in this tool to tell the crawler to look for fresh content.
